DY Patil Institute of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics

Dr. D. Y. Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Institute (DYPBBI), started in the year of 2004. This institute has separate departments of Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Industrial Biotechnology, Bioinformatics and Plant and Animal Tissue Culture with highly qualified faculty and well equipped laboratories.

DYPBBI is also a major stakeholder in human resource development. This institute provide the placement with advanced knowledge development & skills for there students. DYPBBI offers B. Tech in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, M. Tech (Integrated) in Biotechnology and MSC. in Biotechnology. Therefore, it is a major provider of skilled manpower to academia and industry.
