Dr.MGR-Janaki College was established in the year 1996 beneath the auspices of Mrs. Janaki Ramachandran, who wished to begin a college to pay a tribute to her husband Late Mr. M.G. Ramachandran, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Under the dedicated leadership of our Secretary & Correspondent Mrs. Latha Rajendran and Trustee Mr.M.Rajendran the college grew from its humble beginnings to become a prime institution producing rank holders in multidiscipline.
