Danish Bank Guarantee Scheme

The Danish state has issued a two-year guarantee. The agreement takes the form of a type of insurance policy for the financial sector in Denmark. The sector has an excess, or own risk, of DKr10bn (the loss guarantee) and a basic insurance premium of DKr15bn over two years (the guarantee commission), and the premium can be increased by an additional DKr10bn if necessary.
