Cochin University of Science & Technology (CUSAT) is a government owned independent university in Kochi (Cochin), Kerala, India. Launched in 1971, the university comprises of three campuses, two in Kochi and one in Kuttanad, Alappuzha, approximately 66 km inland. The university awards degrees in several areas of engineering and allied subjects at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Nearly 2,000 students engage yearly in several fields of undergraduate and postgraduate study in this university.

Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in appropriate branch of engineering from an accepted university with
60%marks in the qualifying examination. Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities shall be eligible for concession upto5% in the minimum marks. Candidates shall have passed the Departmental Admission Test carried on by the School with 50% marks. Admission shall be based on the marks in the qualifying examination, Departmental admission test, interview and experience. Application for admission shall be presented along with the consent of the Supervising Guide.
