About The Institute
Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI) was founded by the Government of India in 1946 at Cuttack in Orissa. The main aim is to carry out research to improving productivity and sustainability of rice. CRRI is about 35 km from Biju Patnaik Airport and 7 km from Cuttack Railway Station, on the Cuttack-Paradip state highway.\

INFRASTRUCTURAL FACILITIES
The experimental farm 117 hectares have a cultivated land of 60.5 hectares. The farm is separate into 15 blocks with well bunded and leveled plots for field experiments in dissimilar rice ecologies.
