Introduction
The Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute is the former premier research institute in the field of inland fisheries research and training in India. This institute chief aim of the institute was to conduct investigations for a proper appraisal of inland fisheries resources of the country. The Institute came under the administrative control of Indian Council of Agricultural Research in October 1967. This institute allows for the placement successful students.
