CDAC Trivandrum
Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is the prime R&D of the administration Department of Information Technology (DIT), Ministry of Communications & Information Technology (MCIT) for containing Research and development in IT, Electronics and related fields. Different fields of C-DAC had developed at various times, many of which came out as a consequence of recognition of possibilities. C-DAC has a well set and understood vision, which C-DA Cians strain to attain by mutually, agreed mission statements and destinations.
The Centre has added significantly to the development of the industry in general and the electronics field in special by the indigenous growth of commercially viable systems and productions, foreign technology absorption, adaptation and up gradation, utilization and preparation and turnkey invocation of contract plans. The Centre has various firsts to its references and is the recipient of esteemed national level awards for excellence in application- oriented R & D.
