The First Diploma for ICT Practitioners provides you the possibility to formulate abilities in a broad range of ICT applications. The course dwells of a number of individual units, by which candidate will learn how to make websites, use complex spreadsheet functions and grow databases for information retrieval. The graphics unit will equip you to formulate your creative side, using the most recent software technology to make images and graphics for printing and web displays. The abilities learned in these units are useful for assignments, but more importantly, are abilities that will be utilized in later life both at home and in the workplace.
The qualification is evaluated by internally set assignments and externally verified by National Standard Sampling. In addition centers go through an ongoing Centre Risk Assessment procedure to assure the quality of provision and internal verification systems and patterns. BTEC First Diploma provides a qualification which may cover a learner’s programme of study and render vocational stress within their programme of study. Students study 6 units which are usually taught above 2 years.
