BINC Pune University
University of Pune was founded in 1949. Spread all over a 400 acre (1.6 km²) campus, the university is home to 46 academic departments. Its Pune situated in North Western Pune, is one of India’s prime universities. University of Pune, on behalf of Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, will direct the BINC examination on February 20-21, 2010. The aim of this examination is to certify bioinformatics professionals, trained officially as well as self-trained. Registration is open from 01-12-2009 to 16-01-2010.
Eligibility for BINC exam
Students have must Graduate degree in Science, Agriculture, Veterinary, Medicine, Pharmacy, Engineering & Technology are qualified to appear in the examination. Students require not have any formal training viz., certificate, diploma or degree in Bioinformatics. Students in final year of graduation degree are also qualified to apply. International students are also qualified to apply.
