Bharathiar University was launched at Coimbatore by the Government of Tamil nadu in February, 1982 under the planning of the Bharathiar University Act, 1981 (Act | of 1982). The University strains to recognize the sight of India and excel in advancing and defending the rich heritage of our past and worldly ideals of the nation. In May, 1985 the University got the identification from University Grants Commission (UGC) New Delhi for the purpose of grants. Bharathiar University conducts 2 year full time MBA programme in management field.
