The Distance learning Centre of Berhampur University started in the year 1987 with the objective to offer educational facilities, particularly to those who can not engage regular courses due to financial or other constraints. The Berhampur University Distance learning Centre is being administered through a Director, Additional Director on Part time basis and a full time Programme Coordinator and other officers. The Berhampur University Distance learning Centre has made provisions for contact classes for students providing Postgraduate and Professional Courses and for Under-graduate courses. The admission strength in all courses provided by the Distance Education Centre has gone up to a considerable height. The Distance learning Centre at present provides Twenty seven Undergraduate / Post Graduate & Professional Courses.
