Alagappa University was founded in 1992, now famous as Alagappa University Distance Education, DDE. Alagappa University Distance Education accredited with ‘A’ Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is placed at Karaikudi. Alagappa University Directorate of Distance Education – DDE is accepted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. Furnishing instruction and training in such branches of learning as it may determine furthering research for the advancement and dissemination of knowledge transforming the Society by transfer of knowledge by way of Extension activities.
